| In the news post it states what was going on, but I'm happy to spell it out again. Yes, VTD is not perfect. Yes, people can abuse it. Yes, we police it as best we can to make sure a small set of people don't consistently gang up on a post. In SUPPORT of that fact, when Z1 let us know what was going on, we investigated to see if that was the case. Sure we found 5-6 members who were consistent across the VTD's, but here are the differences: 1. They were individual members and did not have a 'posse' large enough to effect a VTD on their own. 2. It was not 1 or 2 people with a bunch of dummy accounts gaming the system to effect a VTD. 3. We were actively changing the number of votes required to delete in classifieds UP as an attempt to stop the problem anyway. 4. It continued to be diverse membership (obviously more than the required counts even as they increased) that were doing the voting. 5. All the votes were done properly, not using an 'exploit'. 6. The various members who might be considered to be a 'gang' were not FORUM SPONSORS. There are always going to be sides and those who cry 'favoritism' no matter what we do, so my points above are as far as I'm willing to go to explain that. If people still see a clique and favoritism going on, then that's just what they're going to see.
